Stewardship

What is Stewardship?

At St. Paul’s, we are blessed with many gifts, including a wonderful place to worship and a healthy congregation of caring members. We are truly thankful for the giving nature of our members and the charity they bestow, whether in the form of precious time, skills and talents, or financial support. All of these are critical to our mission:

Worshiping God in the beauty of Holiness

Welcoming and growing in faith and fellowship

Serving our neighbors in Jesus’ name

If you have time, skills, or talents you would like to offer, please click here to send us a message about the gifts you’d like to share with us.

We also ask you to prayerfully consider monetary gifts of any amount. Your charity enables us to serve our congregation and support our community, whether it helps us pay for maintenance and repairs to our church home (all 25,786 square feet of it), for our very small staff who take care of our weekly needs, or to support our efforts to help those in need. For example, our present church was completed in 1940, so it is an older structure requiring proper care and maintenance, which can be costly at times. We are currently working to set aside money to replace aging air conditioning units.

Please see the information below if you would like to contribute to our efforts to serve God and grow in faith. Note: We use PayPal for online giving, which includes a service fee charged to St. Paul’s. As such, this service fee is automatically deducted from your contribution.

Tax-Advantaged Giving – IRA Charitable Rollover:
For some of you, there’s another way of paying your annual pledge or making a monetary gift to the church. If you are 70 ½ or older, you can make a contribution to St. Paul’s directly from your Traditional IRA by simply instructing the plan administrator to make the transfer directly as a Qualified Charitable Distribution. You are allowed to transfer up to $100,000 a year to the charities of your choice. Your gift will be transferred directly to St. Paul’s, will not be reported as income, and will count toward your Required Minimum Distribution requirements for the year. It might be a win-win situation for you and St. Paul’s.
If you have questions about making a contribution through your Traditional IRA, please contact us at the link here.
